Thursday, July 22, 2021 Futures Up/Down % Last Dow 83.00 0.24% 34,772 S&P 500 8.25 0.20% 4,359 Nasdaq 20.50 0.14% 14,848 Stock futures pointing higher, looking to make it a third straight day in a row of gains as optimism about earnings and the economic recovery outweighed Wall Streetโ€™s concerns about rising inflation and surging coronavirus cases. The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury rose early Thursday to 1.287% after touching lows below 1.13% earlier this week. President Joe Biden, at a town hall in Cincinnati hosted by CNN, said Wednesday night โ€œthere will be near-term inflationโ€ as the economy recovers but said he has been advised by his economic team that current price increases wonโ€™t last as demand returns to normal levels. Stocks advanced Wednesday as strong corporate earnings and renewed optimism about the U.S. economic recovery stoked investor risk appetite. All three major U.S. stock indexes appeared set to build on the previous sessionโ€™s gains, which delivered the S&P 500โ€™s best day since March, while the Russell 2000 SmallCap outperformed for a second day after trading in correction territory on Monday (defined as 10% down off record highs). With Wednesdayโ€™s advance, all three are within 1% of their all-time closing highs. Economically sensitive SmallCaps, semiconductors and financials outperformed the broader market as investors prep for another busy day of earnings. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index rose 159 points to 27,548, the Shanghai Index gained 12 points to 3,574 and the Hang Seng Index jumped nearly 500 points (1.83%) to settle at 27,723. In Europe, the German DAX is jumps 125 points to 15,550, while the FTSE 100 rises about 15 points to move above the 7,000 level. A failure to work out differences over whether government spending cuts should accompany an increase in the statutory debt limit, currently set at $28.5 trillion, could lead to a federal government shutdown โ€“ as has happened three times in the past decade โ€“ or even a debt default. mixed morning on the UOA tape so far but I see some sectors heating up with flow. I was stopped out on the $AAL play & the $SPWR profit target was hit for a nice gain. So only holding $WDC at the moment but will add some new positions later, sit tight ๐Ÿ‘

@everyone This morning we exited $STNE for a nice gain and now have $SPWR $WDC $AAL left on the book. It is still very early in the $AAL & $WDC trades and they will need time to play out. $WDC is running well so far. $SPWR keeps running into supply just below the 28 level. I will see if we can absorb the selling and crack above it by Tuesday of next week. If not, I will probably cut it. @everyone We are rounding the bend into Month end now and our plan, as always, is to have a profitable month so I am looking forward to finishing June on a strong note. @everyone Important: Trading Strategy Review I have been in touch with most traders who got the Ebook & Lessons and I know most are doing ok. But I haven't heard from you and I want to know if you could leave an honest review of the Ebook & Videos using the link below.ย  Your review will also boost the profile of the lesson so others can find it.ย  Here is the link:ย https://gumroad.com/l/YWPPj ( just sign in and click on "ratings") Thanks a lot!ย  & Have a great weekend. I will see you on Monday :) Chris

good morning @everyone we $SPWR $STNE $AAL $WDC in the book ....watching $SPWR & $STNE closely as they are both running into some supply ...if they stall i will take whatever gains are there and move on. Lots of other trades setting up. In terms of the general market, the bulls are in control as long as we continue to trade above 4246...a break below 4246 can bring a quick trip back to 4221 then 4206.

$AAL $SPWR $STNE all feeling a little "stuck" atm but all holding well above critical levels with lots of time to go before expiry. Being able to sit and wait is a big and important part of trading .... an elder trader once told me that " in trading, patience is a super power". So stay focused and patient. If there are any material changes then the positions will be adjusted or closed....right now there is nothing to do ....also prepping some new setups for possible trades later. Sit tight :y:

$STNE slowly doing its thing, $SPWR and the other solars kinda stalled ....added some $AAL because of the setup+flow+i think most see the news of cutting flights as a negative so i am fading the sentiment. We will see how it goes. $LYV, $ASO , $V and lots more all on deck for this later this week....let's see. Have a good one and see you tomorrow :)
