I will be waiting for a DEATH CANDLE then will short a bounce. More commentary at open TMC - Potential hot chick. ETB and SSR. This should be 30% max size and nail and bail ONLY. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 Futures Up/Down % Last Dow 59.00 0.17% 35,340 S&P 500 8.25 0.19% 4,484 Nasdaq 45.50 0.30% 15,350 U.S. futures are looking higher, adding to the record setting performances by the S&P 500 and Nasdaq yesterday on further vaccine approval optimism yesterday, while China stocks rebound for the first time in 2-weeks. Last week’s stock market pullback (if you can call 1% a pullback) is all but a memory as stocks surged on Monday, with the S&P 500 hitting an intraday record high along with the Nasdaq notching another new record close. Helping positive sentiment was the U.S. FDA granting full approval to the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer Inc and its partner BioNTech SE. Investors were also looking ahead to the Federal Reserve’s Jackson Hole symposium, which gets underway later this week. Energy led the way among S&P 500 sectors, rising 3.8% as crude prices rose about 5%, snapping its 7-day losing streak from last week, while defensive sectors such as utilities lagged. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index jumped 237 points to 27,732, the Shanghai Index gains 37 points to 3,514 and the Hang Seng Index jumps 618 points to 25,727. In Europe, the German DAX rises over 50 points above 15,900, while the FTSE 100 is down a few points holding around the 7,100 level. The big event for markets this week will take place in Jackson Hole at the economic symposium of the Federal Reserve. While some officials have stated plans to scale back stimulus, threats from the Delta variant have raised questions about whether they will hold off on signaling a taper timeline on $120B/month in bond buying. $PYPL - Monthly Top, Weekly Mid, Daily Bottom Keltner Channel support, an ABC reversal on the daily with a $7.8 ATR makes PayPal a solid pick for our list this week. MACD and TTM Squeeze are both neutral and increasing getting ready to cross over and up. Weekly and Daily KC top targets with ALL Time high not far behind. VWAP, POC and trading at -1 ATR all fall in line at $275ish. A reversion to the mean lines up at the $285 price level and lands right at the 50SMA on the daily. Minor 15min 200SMA overhead resistance has been causing issues with price action getting over it causing a longer term bull pennant to form. When the squeeze releases and price picks a direction this momentum should continue for 6-8 trading days. The 15min algo chart shows us strong net buying since Aug 3rd. Regular block trades at these levels are providing support and resistance. $280 is the upper end level that when it breaks it will get chunky moves, especially with a nice gap to fill. $272.20, $274, $277.35 are all important levels and price may bounce in-between those until that squeeze releases. The algo is steady increasing and has curled up out of consolidation. The 1min has bullish intraday divergence from the ORL ($274.78) up to the ORH ($276.47) see the 1min chart for a great example of the tool printing the divergence for easy recognition.

Risk sentiment improves across Asia as Chinese and Hong Kong stocks push higher on tech recovery and solid Caixin PMI data. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index fell -57 points to 27,854, the Shanghai Index rose 29 points to 3,477 and the Hang Seng Index jumped 231 points to settle at 26,426. In Europe, the German DAX is climbing around 125 points to 15,680, while the FTSE 100 is up 0.4% to 7,135. Chinese Jul Caixin Services PMI beat: 54.9 vs 50.6 consensus. Some also see the spread of the Covid-19 delta variant as delaying rather than stopping the economic recovery. The New York Times reported overnight that the FDA plans to give full approval to Pfizer (PFE) and BioNTech (BNTX) coronavirus vaccine by the start of the next month. Earnings season has been strong with about 87% of S&P 500 companies reporting earnings and revenue beats, according to FactSet. Just under 70% of the S&P 500 now has reported earnings. The S&P 500 closed at record highs with gains in Apple and healthcare stocks, as concerns over a surge in the Delta variant of the coronavirus was put to the back-burner, overshadowed by continued upbeat corporate earnings.
