IU Watchlist: Main Watches: $PETZ $7-10-12-15 we don't know or $5? Crazy action AHs - looking to see how it reacts how it performs pre and will offer some thoughts from there. $OCGN higher better and steady fails IMO remember Nov 9th is next "catalyst" ie: conference call but that's that - what a huge opportunity today hope you all did well. Still have puts on the name. $MARA perma watch as Bitcoin and everything goes nuts should have a daily trade in there. Failed Follow Through: $SKLZ nothing I am bearish on - higher better and back side. Monitoring. Would love a speed up first. $CHGG higher better and back side potential 945-10AM+ $Z complete unwind I need to do better at these 6 month low unwind plays on e/r - morning shove 945-10AM + then looking to fade. Continuation: $PTPI really nice idea today - hope you guys nailed too - solid idea from early good reminders to lock in at the top both times and good scoop ideas on the flushes - great discussion in lounge. Remember when things close SUPER STRONG my conviction of follow through goes down. We want to see weakness and trappy action vs. seeing the trade play out shortly before close. $DM dips vs $8.50 feels like a nice set up - keep in mind only as good as market stays up - can easily reverse. $IVAN same plan as today started in see if it bases $11-11.20 and would add just starter for now. $DNA same plan as I've said many times past few weeks. $AMPG started in swing today $PBYI another day buyer in tape so far so good from big picture idea $HOOD took big picture idea today $CETX looking to get involved on dips - looks like buyer in tape on daily. $GEO so far good from big picture idea yesterday added some today.

Materials and some consumer products are getting a boost after the U.S. and European Union reached a trade truce on steel and aluminum tariffs over the weekend. The two sides were working hard to reach a deal before Dec. 1, when the European retaliatory tariffs were set to double; the 25% tariffs will apply to EU exports beyond 3.3 million tons, Bloomberg reported. The EU agreed to drop retaliatory tariffs on U.S. motorcycles, jeans and bourbon whiskey per Bloomberg (shares of names like HOG looking higher). Earnings optimism also continues to offset concern over a near-term move on tapering from the Federal Reserve that could add to signals of slowing growth in the supply chain-snarled economy, ahead of the FOMC meeting later this week. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index rose 2.6% or over 750 points to 29,647, the Shanghai Index slipped a few points to 3,544 and the Hang Seng Index dropped -0.88% or over 200 points to 25,154. In Europe, the German DAX is up about 135 points to 15,825, while the FTSE 100 gains +0.5% to 7,275. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 Futures Up/Down % Last Dow -19.00 0.05% 34,979 S&P 500 -0.25 0.02% 4,425 Nasdaq 17.50 0.12% 15,142 Stock markets are looking quiet again, as major averages have been holding near record highs but struggling for direction to start the week. Stronger economic data last Friday on the form of non-farm payrolls and declining unemployment helped boost sentiment about the economy, overshadowing any uncertainty over what impact the fast-spreading delta virus variant will have on the economy and comments from Federal Reserve officials about scaling back support. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index gained 68 points to settle at 27,888, the Shanghai Index jumped 35 points to 3,529, and the Hang Seng Index gained 322 points (1.23%) to close at 26,605. In Europe, the German DAX is up around 25 points to 15,770, while the FTSE 100 is down a few points at 7,125. Today a fairly busy day of economic data, but all eyes fixed on the inflation reports coming up tomorrow (CPI) and on Thursday (PP), to see if the four-month spike in prices is indeed transitory as the Fed has pledged or if it is something more troubling for consumers down the line. Earnings season has begun to slow, with nearly 450 S&P companies having reported this quarter, with only some big retailers (WMT, TGT, HD, LOW) remaining. Trading ranges have remained in tight ranges of late, as summer doldrums have kicked in early.
