My ideas for JPow conference. I dont think this is going to be much of a mover and shaker. I think people are waiting to see if he mentions a few key events: taper, rates (low probability) or his new framework (this is the highest probability of convo IMO) then market will get a little jumpy. I doing this strong tech names are going to be too effected by the presser IMO. All the ones that are euphoric and pressing highs like MSFT AMZN NVDA FB, even AAPL Right now were trading between value on S&P futures 25 to 31. I don't expect a move out until JPOW starts blabbing. which presents easier opportunity if he has some shocking topics of convo good or bad you know where to place trades

First if you want to make sure a growth name is not just an overvalued piece of crap you need to take a look at some fundamentals. Is it overextended beyond belief? Check the p/e typically I want to see a p/e under 30 but sometimes Ill let it slide to 50 but that's a lot... NExt you want to make sure that you have a profitable company in its earnings, higher operating margins (20%) and also EPS and sales growth over the last 5 years over 20% or look at the q/q growth on EPS and Sales if its a real growth it'll be 40%+ Then look at the structure. are we below all EMA? 20, 34/50? well we need to be above 20 EMA at least for interest. Is structure lower highs and lower lows? We need higher highs and higher lows, are we below monthly pivots? We need to be above. Take TWTR for example, got slapped on earnings, continued lower. what do we need from TWTR to see the upside? https://www.tradingview.com/ 1. I would need to see it above the pink box to start the gap fill. 2. close above the 20 EMA 3. Start printing higher highs/higher lows and break current structure. 4. Break above pivot on the monthly. TWTR becomes attractive above 56.50. This is one of the names I like for longer term Sept calls, especially if order flow comes in. The others are PINS (70/80C) ETSY (200C) MSFT (270/290C) FB (350C)
