Shares of Align Technology Inc. (ALGN) slumped 6.1% toward a four-month low in afternoon trading Wednesday, enough to pace the S&P 500's decliners, after Stifel Nicolaus analyst Jonathan Block warned investors that his research suggests volumes deteriorated in recent months. Block's warning comes two weeks before the aesthetic dentistry products company is slated to report third-quarter results, after the Oct. 27 closing bell. Block said his past "quarterly diligence" was bullish, leading him to take aggressive stances heading into the previous four quarterly reports, all which beat both profit and revenue expectations. "However, our 3Q21 checks came back soft, and as a result, we view risk/reward for the upcoming print differently versus the last handful of quarters," Block wrote in a note to clients. Meanwhile, he reiterated the buy rating he's had on the stock for at least the past three years and kept his stock price target at $750. The current FactSet consensus for third-quarter earnings per share of $2.59 is the same as it was at the start of the third quarter, while the revenue consensus of $976.9 million has increased from $956.1 million. The stock has shed 8.4% over the past three months, while share of rival SmileDirectClub Inc. (SDC) have tumbled 20.0% and the S&P 500 has eased 0.1%.

IU Watchlist - Sept 21: $ATER great trade thoughts today -- the bigcharts doesn't show the right chart so it's on radar just nothing to show for a chart below. Higher better $12.50s + and fails I do think shorts are still a little twisted here so I'm not really in a rush. Main Watches: $PLTR looking to reactive trade off open or 945-10AM + ideally $26.60-27s + and fails. Remember chart resistance on daily. $LCID feels like shorts got smacked - weak open for more break out ideally $25-26 + blow off otherwise gap up $25-26 I know sounds crazy but if it doesn't come I'll be cautious until it does. This may take until Thurs to set up or even next week. I think there will be good scalp shorts but I am going to be patient for the BIG opportunity and I think we're still in short bait mode. $TQQQ major range - insane range. No bias but definitely looking for a trade tomorrow. Failed Follow Through: $SDC higher better nice shove there at the close I'd love to see $7-7.20 blow off and sit back. $CEI very nice preparation today and re scale on r/g fail - higher better tomorrow likely starts to stay heavy from here on out like I went over on the video last night. Morning shove is ideal then looking to fade. $EDSA nice ETB squeeze out EOD I do wish I went for the trade into the AHs blow off but - I'm all set. Didn't want to be there all night if it wasn't a lay up - awesome job today on the trade. Nice alert by T530 as well on the PT that came out. $ZIVO higher better shove - failed follow through.

MIC WATCHLIST SDC - Looking for a morning pop to scale in short 7.50 / 8.00 VSTM - Ideally 3.50 / 3.70 / 4.00 to scale in 30% max size until confirmation. STOP over 4.15 SYBX - Watching for a volume rush at open due to ETB. Will let this trade out.. Waiting for a death candle then will attack HLBZ - Would love a r/g rejection to short this. Mostly reactive as SSR will turn on at open CRVS - Wouldn't be surprised to see this go red and immediately reclaim and trap. For me will look for a 6.00 / 6.50 rejection to get involved ZEVO - SSR is on. Maybe a 6.50 / 7.00 / 7.50 push to scale in. stop is over pre mkt HOD. 30% max size until confirm EDSA - ETB. Potential runner of the day. Ignoring it for now APRE - 6.00 / 6.50 line

IU Watchlist: Main Watches: $LIFE nice late Oppenheimer upgrade fueled it AHs again after shorts likely got pretty comfortable. Pretty decent trap - they can def raise but it was super ETB and cheap to borrow where it wasn't so very possible 4-7AM walk up and hopefully they hold off any raise before I get back πŸ™‚ Higher better is ideal. $ISEE weak open still think we could have a push out $15-17 or something wild by Wednesday if not and fails to get over and hold $15 tomorrow I'd be looking to join the trend back down. $AMC reactive trade - had a good read on it today on entries and covers the only thing I did wrong was hold part of it which made it more work than it was worth. $CEI higher better and ideally nail it again like today. Nice trade plan. Failed Follow Through: $OCGN $8.50 + is ideal then failed follow through I'd love to trade. Nice trader today. $SDC had a nice long with the swipe today joined that - got a good piece but super heavily promoted on Twitter - much like ROOT so when it stops going up just remember lots of retail will be on wrong side. Would fade failed follow through. $BBIG higher better for failed follow through is ideal. Nice one today. $FUBO watching all pops vs 945-10AM weakness / VWAP

There are 6 pending orders on top of the entry. If they activate, the entry will close with more than 110 points. If the market decides to continue in our favor only, then the minimum of 110 points is received. Is safe to enter anytime above entry line, as long as the minimum take profit has not occur. The signal will be closed within 8 hours.

Tuesday, August 10, 2021 Futures Up/Down % Last Dow -19.00 0.05% 34,979 S&P 500 -0.25 0.02% 4,425 Nasdaq 17.50 0.12% 15,142 Stock markets are looking quiet again, as major averages have been holding near record highs but struggling for direction to start the week. Stronger economic data last Friday on the form of non-farm payrolls and declining unemployment helped boost sentiment about the economy, overshadowing any uncertainty over what impact the fast-spreading delta virus variant will have on the economy and comments from Federal Reserve officials about scaling back support. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index gained 68 points to settle at 27,888, the Shanghai Index jumped 35 points to 3,529, and the Hang Seng Index gained 322 points (1.23%) to close at 26,605. In Europe, the German DAX is up around 25 points to 15,770, while the FTSE 100 is down a few points at 7,125. Today a fairly busy day of economic data, but all eyes fixed on the inflation reports coming up tomorrow (CPI) and on Thursday (PP), to see if the four-month spike in prices is indeed transitory as the Fed has pledged or if it is something more troubling for consumers down the line. Earnings season has begun to slow, with nearly 450 S&P companies having reported this quarter, with only some big retailers (WMT, TGT, HD, LOW) remaining. Trading ranges have remained in tight ranges of late, as summer doldrums have kicked in early.
