i think once market gets over it ...AMD could pop...its story has very little to do with low end pcs AND even if it takes 20% hit on next years earnings its still at about 16x ...IF MAINTAINS EARNINGS ITS AT 13X

Key to MU earnings today is to show demand for memory chips remain present as demand has fallen in previous quarter which could result in chip prices to fall, this could create negative ramifications in the overall semi - conductor sector. A surprise against this previous estimate as market has already priced in the downtrend in demand. A surprise will boost the entire market to the upside especially Semi's such as AMD, NVDA, NXPI and etc to the upside

AMD is sailing one day late. Unfortunately for people that strictly honor stops, they are out. I can't blame them because in this market for every 1 AMD that sky rockets a day late 4 stopped out positions never come back. That's why I look at how good the company is and beaten down it is.

like I say, too late for a spread on AMD. We have to wait for another setup on 7/15 or later.

I never did get an AMD spread, but since that position was stopped out, I said the heck with it and cancelled it this morning. It's to short of time even for a defensive spread.

I didn't pick up the AMD Long Call because it's to close to expiration. It's a good company and too bad it stopped out. I'm still trying for a low cost spread on it.
