**1) ETSY (ETSY) ** ETSY currently is sideways after receiving huge selling pressure from extended hour session between 05/05/21 and 05/06/21. Currently there is a gap to fill over head beginning at $176, as there is a potential for a gap fill oppportunity should this show strength to the upside. ETSY is currently below all major averagers (50sma, 100sma, and 200sma). Watching the break of current structure and range for the opportunity of puts. Watch for the break below $162.75, PT1: $158, PT2: $155

/*============================================= = Tuesday June 8, 2021 = =============================================*/ U.S. futures slip after several Internet websites went down this morning including New York Times, Reddit, Amazon.com Web Services (though many of them are starting to come back now). Futures dropped when it first appeared it was a potential cybersecurity breach but CNBC reported that Fastly ($FSLY) was down and maybe the reason for some of the outages, though still unclear at this point to what the direct driver is of the website outages. Fastly did say it is โ€œinvestigating potential impact to performance with our CDN services,โ€ on its service page. Prior to the Internet outages, U.S. futures werenโ€™t doing very much, trading mixed to down slightly prior with Treasury yields lower (10-yr at 1.55%), along with a slide in oil prices and cryptocurrency (Bitcoin at 33K). U.S. equity futures were mixed, as inflation concerns continued to play on investors. Bitcoin fell, with some analysts suggesting the move may relate to the display of government control in the cryptocurrency space as the U.S recovered some of the Colonial Pipeline ransom. Stitch Fix and Marvell Technology gained following positive earnings results. Stocks finished mixed on Monday as the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrials finished with modest losses while the tech heavy Nasdaq Composite and Russell 2000 outperformed, paced by gains in the biotech sector as Biogenโ€™s ($BIIB) FDA approval for its Alzheimerโ€™s drug boosted optimism about futures FDA decisions on other drugs. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index fell -55 points to 28,963, the Shanghai Index fell -19 points to 3,580 and the Hang Seng Index slipped -5points to 28,781. In Europe, the German DAX is down over 30 points to 15,640, while the FTSE 100 is up a few points at 7,080. Market Closing Prices Yesterday The S&P 500 Index slipped -3.37 points, or 0.08%, to 4,226.52 The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell -126.15 points, or 0.36%, to 34,630.24 The Nasdaq Composite climbed 67.23 points, or 0.49%, to 13,881.72 The Russell 2000 Index advanced 32.76 points, or 1.463% to 2,319.18 Events Calendar for Today 6:00 AM EST NFIB Small Business Optimism for May 7:45 AM ET ICSC Weekly Retail Sales 8:30 AM EST International Trade for April 8:55 AM ET Johnson/Redbook Weekly Sales 10:00 AM EST JOLTs Job Openings for April 4:30 PM ET API Weekly Inventory Data Earnings Calendar: Earnings Before the Open: $ASO, $CHS, $JILL, $NAV, $THO Earnings After the Close: $ABM, $AMSWA, $CASY, $CVGW, $LMNR, $ODC, $PATH, $STRM Other Key Events: China PPI and CPI data for May American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), 6/4-6/8 Baird Global Consumer, Technology & Services Conference 2021 (virtual), 6/8-6/10 Deutsche Bank Global Consumer Conference (virtual), 6/7-6/10 Goldman Sachs Travel & Leisure Conference 2021 (virtual), 6/7-6/8 Goldman Sachs Healthcare Conference (virtual), 6/8-6/10 Goldman Sachs 25th Annual European Financials Conference (virtual), 6/8-6/10 Jefferies Healthcare Virtual Conference, 6/8-6/10 Oppenheimer Virtual Software & Semiconductor Bus Tour, 6/7-6/11 REITWeek 2021 Investor Virtual Conference, 6/8-6/10 UBS Global Industrials and Transportation Conference, 6/8-6/9 Macro Up/Down Last Nymex -0.58 68.65 Brent -0.60 70.89 Gold -5.30 1,893.90 EUR/USD -0.0013 1.2177 JPY/USD 0.17 109.42 10-Year Note -0.02 1.55% World News Germany Jun ZEW Expectations8 vs 86.0 consensus; Current Conditions -9.1 vs -27.8 consensus; Expecting strong recovery for next 6 months Eurozone Q1 GDP: q/q -0.3% vs -0.6% consensus; y/y -1.3% vs -1.8% consensus; Eurozone Q1 Employment Change: -1.8% vs -0.3% consensus Sector News Breakdown Consumer Chicoโ€™s FAS, Inc. First if you want to make sure a growth name is not just an overvalued piece of crap you need to take a look at some fundamentals. Is it overextended beyond belief? Check the p/e typically I want to see a p/e under 30 but sometimes Ill let it slide to 50 but that's a lot... NExt you want to make sure that you have a profitable company in its earnings, higher operating margins (20%) and also EPS and sales growth over the last 5 years over 20% or look at the q/q growth on EPS and Sales if its a real growth it'll be 40%+ Then look at the structure. are we below all EMA? 20, 34/50? well we need to be above 20 EMA at least for interest. Is structure lower highs and lower lows? We need higher highs and higher lows, are we below monthly pivots? We need to be above. Take TWTR for example, got slapped on earnings, continued lower. what do we need from TWTR to see the upside? https://www.tradingview.com/ 1. I would need to see it above the pink box to start the gap fill. 2. close above the 20 EMA 3. Start printing higher highs/higher lows and break current structure. 4. Break above pivot on the monthly. TWTR becomes attractive above 56.50. This is one of the names I like for longer term Sept calls, especially if order flow comes in. The others are PINS (70/80C) ETSY (200C) MSFT (270/290C) FB (350C)

Alright so what we have seen over the past week has been really interesting, we got a massive sell off which killed a lot of names but it didn't harm others. The overall $SPY/SPX dropped pulling growth down further with it and the tech sector was destroyed, Nasdaq cried that's for sure. The tech breadth was at 7 which was a huge buy sign, and when I took a look at which tech names got beat up it wasn't really the big ones, they still held value well and if anything have amazing potential to the upside ($MSFT, FB etc). So what is going on? I mentioned its cyclical, right now growth is dead and value reigns supreme. If you want to know how to get rich in the market or make the right decisions its being able to switch from value and growth when the cycle is upon. Right now value is elite and is reigning supreme, the worst thing you can do is sell your garbage growth and switch to value, value is still going up and has a lot more room, from what it looks like but its also overextended and getting towards its last stride. There is a difference between garbage growth and good growth, you need conviction in your plays. So I liked this dip for a lot of "value x growth names" ones with conviction. A lot of value didn't manage to dip much but really good tech did and we mention names we were hunting. I think there is a lot of potential in large tech names that we all know, FB & $MSFT specifically, also $AAPL. we did well to pick up $SPY calls but longer term calls on these 3 tech names could pay well. I liked commons on them as well. Other names you should watch carefully are SQ, PYPL, PTON, AXP, FCX, DIS, BA, SE, PINS, $TWTR, ETSY, APPS & XOM ( I still like reopening and oil for the year as we are far from the potential) These are more or less growth names that have been battered and have a lot of potential, all of which are on the excel sheet pinned, if you want to know what we're in its in the list. There are ways to get into your conviction plays as well, if its beat up growth we need to flip the structure and that happens a few ways. I'll go into detail of what I want to see in another post just after this one. There are a lot of value names out there that you can add to your portfolio but I need to see more of a pullback at this point, so they're not that high of interest.
