@everyone 4) $FSLY wasn't a regular stop out. In the case of $FSLY i thought there was an overreaction to the Convertible Note offering and that the move was just a shakeout....i have seen this hundreds of times...so i did what i usually do in the situation i.e widen my Stop & Target parameters in anticipation of more volatility and an eventual overshoot on the upside. I was wrong on this occasion. I will make it up 5) There are pockets of strength in the market and some sectors like Energy, Banks and Builders continue to catch bids as part of the rotation out of tech. I have trades lined up for this ( $DD is just one of a few i was watching). Timing the entries. 6) But I still think the bigger opportunity will come from a fast break of one of the S&P levels I listed above. Those are the kind of moves that can make your quarter in a few days because there will be lots of traders who are trapped and forced to correct themselves. I have some trades lined up and I am waiting patiently. Sit tight. If it doesn't play out then we will simply just refocus on the singles.

@everyone 1) The short term market sentiment has shifted and the focus is now to "Sell the rips" in the major indices. As I explained in the Chat Room yesterday, the sentiment shift can be seen in the fact that for the last 3 days or so it has been harder to find bids on "good news" and easier to find sellers on "bad news". This situation is the reverse of what obtained just two weeks ago. It is a phenomenon that is as old as the markets are. 2) On a technical basis, there still hasn't been any major damage done yet. However, we are not far from seeing a loss of a major level which would bring out even more sellers. 3775 and 3756 are the levels to watch on the downside. And 3845 & 3910 are the levels to watch on the upside. Simply put, a break of either side will bring follow through in that direction. 3) In terms of the IVtrades account , I am still long $ORCL & $DD calls after getting stopped out $FSLY & $SPY earlier this week. I hate getting stopped out like everybody else but the stops prevent big losses and removes the possibility of getting severely damaged by one single trade. Just the cost of doing business.

$FSLY was up premarket while the overall market was higher, the overall market is now lower and Citigroup issued a sell on $FSLY with $44 price target which also put some pain on it

Perhaps Pre and After markets are entirely separate beasts, but $FSLY up to $73 in PM leads me to think this current move down is just that, a shake out. Just taking some days. I see it recovering.

$FSLY have 3/19 $80 and 4/16 $75 call. Will buy 1 more of each today and ride it out. I think it's an overreaction, a too steep one.

yeah that $FSLY debt offering that came yesterday in the Pre market was treated like a an equity offering ......maybe I am missing something but the market usually treats those offerings differently....i was surprised by the reaction and it takes a lot to surprise me these days .....i was so confident that i even widened the stop & exit parameters ...because I have seen it dozens of times before ....turned out i was wrong.... the market extracted its pound of flesh... par for the course

The sell rating by Citi not helping $FSLY this morning, I missed the called trade but entered a single Mar 75C late yesterday at $3.30 with plan to add this morning on a recovery from yesterdays news that caused the selling. Will see how things trade after the open and may need to adjust my plan.

Stopped out of $FSLY ..... that Offering news was not as bearish as it seems but the general sentiment in the market is shifting/has shifted so things like these will have more pull than usual..sucks....it will be a runner once things settle
